Substance abuse is a treatable dis-ease!
As this title suggest, an addiction is not a disease, but it is merely dis-ease. This is a feeling of uneasiness, which leads us to perform various activities for comfort. By surrendering to a drug, a Trans is achieved. This Trans pulls a person into an unreal world. An illusionary world which seems to take away pains and grieves for some time. There are various types of substances which are used for a high. Among few are Marijuana, Grass, and Ecstasy etc. Various drugs have different functions. But all of them hit the mental ability of a person. Some of them are also prescribed drugs. They are suggested by the doctor for getting sound sleep. But taking overdose of it can lead to fatal incidents. Hence these are to be taken in a suggested measure.
Abusing any substance can lead to very dangerous and life threatening incidents. Ecstasy is a drug that can cause mental addiction and we treat many young men and women for whom ecstasy is a primary drug of choice. Ecstasy is potentially fatal every time it is used and is extremely dangerous if mixed with other drugs or alcohol. Ecstasy is a street name for MDMA, a synthetic, psychoactive drug chemically similar to the stimulant methamphetamine and the hallucinogen mescaline. It's a neurotoxin drug with many negative effects. Ecstasy is taken orally in tablet form the majority of the time. Occasionally, ecstasy is "snorted" or taken nasally, and in extremely rare cases, young adults do smoke or even take ecstasy intravenously.
Extacy addiction has various side effects including increases in heart rate and blood pressure, a special risk for people with circulatory problems or heart disease, and other symptoms such as muscle tension, involuntary teeth clenching, nausea, blurred vision, faintness, and chills or sweating. Psychological effects can include confusion, sleep problems, drug craving, and severe anxiety. Erratic mood swings and depression can lead to isolation from friends and family. Another common effect of ecstasy use is decreased performance on the job or in school. All this leads to an unstable state of mind and body.
But ecstasy treatment is readily available. We chalk out a treatment plan based upon our client’s individual needs and requirements.
